Because I'm new here so everyone else decided it would be fun to spam me with all these stupid jokes.
It gets old fast though.
I usually just tell people that the meme isn't good anymore once it runs its course. The best way to end one quickly is by not replying or reacting to it, even when people say things like "You're making it worse", because then everybody will leave it alone.
I'd call myself an expert on this topic since I deal with these idiots daily.

Well yeah, but it depends how much time you have for each person doing it. Usually, I'll give up after about two days trying to convince somebody that the joke sucks.
