It's pretty dark for a kids movie.

The Little Mermaid was okay but I thought they made Ariel look like a weird sea creature.
Also, when she first went into human form it was disturbing to see her legs because she had fins before.

If you want to watch it there are two versions.
The first one is the original Disney version with all the songs.
The second one is the non-singing, more realistic version.
