I was in class and a kid asked me to pass him a pencil, so I did. He said "Thanks" but his teacher looked at him like he had just done something wrong. Then he whispered to the teacher "I don't need the pencil I just wanted it". He thought he could get away with not doing anything.

I always give people pencils when they ask, my teacher says something along the lines of 'please don't give people things.' I ignore her and do whatever I want.

I hope your school is not too strict about that. I got sent out of class twice last year because I kept asking if I could go to the bathroom or get a drink of water and my teacher wouldn't let me. So I just went without asking permission and got in trouble. I wasn't even doing anything wrong though.
