The fad has been around for a long time now, but I never understood it. What is so bad about being dumb? Sure, you may not be as intelligent as the average person, but that doesn't mean you are a worthless being.
What's wrong with being dumb? Nothing!
If anything, if I had to choose between being stupid and smart, I'd choose stupid. At least when you're stupid, you don't have to deal with the pressures of school. I'm sure most people who complain about how their school is too strict would appreciate that.
