It isn't even really a good idea to kill animals unless you want to make food or they're seriously hurting you or someone else. If you can't stand your pet, give him/her away to some kind person.

He's been through like 10 homes in 4 years.
All he does is eat and sleep.
He's also mean. He bit my brother and he almost went blind.

well if you dont give him away, then just get a friend or family member who has pets and give it to them
then they can take care of it instead of having to take care of it yourself

You should really think about it. Don't kill the cat. Give him/her to some kind person and not one that is abusive, because you're still in charge of the cat's fate. So I'd recommend giving him/her to someone you know is good.

giving away your pet doesnt guarantee he will be taken care of
so maybe its better for you to keep it

im pretty sure cats are the worst animals you could own anyway
they dont listen well and they can get very annoying very fast if they arent trained properly

Then don't give the cat away. Give him/her a chance to change. Don't kill him/her, because you'll feel guilty. Just keep him/her.

I honestly think he/she should just stay with you, and you try to be nicer to them. Because there's no telling what would happen to your cat in another home, and I really doubt that it's going to get a good life, especially if you're planning on killing it or giving it away.
