It was £1000, and now my parents want to know how much it cost. When they ask me how much it costs, should I be honest?

Well, your parents would probably not be too happy about you wasting £1000 on a computer if they find out.
But if they already know that you got the computer, then there isn't much point in lying to them.
So yeah...Tell em' or lie to em'.
