You're going to need a new keyboard too because linux is 100% free so your windows keyboard won't work

I could just use my friend's keyboard. He has a Mac, and his keyboard works on Ubuntu (Linux).

I can tell that you've never used a mac or linux before because I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to get the hang of using them without months of practice

No, I would be fine. I know how to use a Mac, because I have an iMac 20".
And Linux isn't that hard. It's like Windows, just different.

Windows doesn't work anymore. It's too slow for my computer. I need a better operating system, and so far I've found no better OS than Linux.

Because it's an operating system made specifically for PCs.
Windows was made for Macs, then adapted for PCs.

Linux has always been available for PCs.
