Oh, and it should be an actual story.
Like, I wouldn't just say "Why don't we make a thread where we post the weirdest, most cringe-worthy things on OT.".
I would do something like this:
"I was sitting in my room when suddenly there was a knock on the door. It was the police, and they had come to tell me that my mother died in a car accident. They took me home, and I found out that my father had been murdered. My grandmother told me that she couldn't handle taking care of me anymore, so she gave me up for adoption."
See what I did there? :o

And you swam down really deep into the ocean, and you saw two people who looked like them, but they weren't. They had fins instead of feet.
