I can't think of any example of something I've cared about that I've actually done anything about. Besides, I'm sure that most people don't care about their community's issues either.

Well, if I wanted to help my community, I would volunteer to build houses for refugees in Syria. However, that wouldn't help all the refugees around the world, and it certainly won't help our environment.

There is no way for me to get to Syria unless I go with the military, and I don't know how to be a part of the military. Also, I am not going to help any community if I'm being forced to help.

That doesn't really make much sense. I mean, if I went to another community in need of help, it wouldn't actually solve anything. The only way to stop poverty is to educate people to stop having so many kids.

You can even send food or clothes to refugees, but instead you're just sitting on your ass complaining that there are too many problems for you to care about.

Well, you can't actually send food to refugees without getting in trouble with the government. There are also many more people in need than the resources we have available. That would be a waste of money and time.
