It was for the movie called The Equalizer
I never seen it before. So I did a little bit of research on it.
I saw that it was rated R which is weird because the actor in the ad looks like he's 13 or something and they wouldn't make a movie that contains murder with a 13 year old.

The Equalizer is a 2014 American thriller drama film directed by Antoine Fuqua, based on the character of the same name created by Richard Wenner. It stars Denzel Washington as Robert McCall, an intelligence officer and former black-ops operative who now runs a small Boston restaurant, serving the best meal on the block, while secretly taking care of business via his connections with local crime figures, both legal and illegal. The film co-stars Marton Csokas, Chloë Grace Moretz, David Harbour, Haley Bennett, Bill Pullman, and Melissa Leo. The film was released on September 26, 2014 by Sony Pictures Entertainment and has grossed $121 million worldwide against a budget of $62 million. A sequel to the film titled The Equalizer 2 is scheduled to be released in 2017.

Thanks for the info.
What I saw in the ad made me wonder if there were some scenes in the movie that were really graphic that the producers couldn't show in the ads.
I also found out that it's not a PG13 movie either.

So basically what I'm trying to say is
Why would they make a movie about murder with a kid? Especially when the character played by Denzel Washington can do all sorts of stuff.

If it's a kids action comedy film then it would be rated PG or PG13 and not R.

Because he's suppose to play a badass but I think that's because his character is only 13 or something.
There should be no reason why a kid should be playing someone who kills people because that's not the way you should teach kids how to behave.

I understand that he looks 13.
But Denzel Washington is suppose to be some sort of bad ass character. That's why they get an older adult playing him.
