"Hey kids, we need to talk."
My Mom was already sleeping so she didn't come with us.
He said that he wasn't feeling well lately. He has been throwing up and hasn't really been able to keep down anything except for a few sips of water here and there.
So he went to the doctor and got a CAT scan done of his chest. He called us in to say that they found something "unusual" on the scan and that he is going back to see another specialist today.
The worst thing is that he also told us that he has had these symptoms before about 5 years ago but it went away on its own and he never did anything about it because he thought it would go away.
Now I am terrified. I hope everything will be fine.
Please say your prayers tonight for my dad. He might have lung cancer.

Yes I have and it all came back clear.
I am really scared for him. He told me that if this is actually lung cancer and that he only has 2 years left to live then he is going to quit his job and go back to school and do something else with his life.
I hope that doesn't happen. I want him to keep working and making money. He works hard. He needs to keep doing it.

I'm sorry to hear that. My grandpa had lung cancer before and he was alright because he caught it early.

My mom said she thought he would have it too, but then it went away on its own without him doing anything about it.
He is really worried now because this time he isn't as healthy as he used to be so he knows that if something were to go wrong then he wouldn't be able to fight the cancer off as well as he did last time.
