I'm thinking of making up a new language so that I can impress my friends with my knowledge of all languages
I want it to have a lot of similarities with other languages, but at the same time be completely different and not related to any other language.
I want it to be easy for me to learn, but difficult for others. Basically, if I was to try to learn it in 1 day, it should be pretty easy to learn but I would be able to figure out most things on my own. But if someone who didn't speak the language before tried to learn it in 1 day, they wouldn't learn anything and probably think its impossible.
I want it to be hard to learn without having to learn it the "right" way. So basically, I want to be able to learn it just by being able to guess some words or something. But if you tried to learn it by trying to learn words instead, it'd be hard to learn. But not as hard as if you had no idea what any of it meant.
And lastly, I want it to have a lot of grammar rules, because I hate when people don't know how to properly use commas, periods, capital letters, or quotation marks.

I can't use my brain, because my brain isn't a language
