I got an A* in Maths, Science and English in my school reports.
But then I was put in the lowest ability group for Maths and English because I'm dyslexic.
Oh well, it's not as if I need the grades anyway.

Yes, but when my teacher gave me my report I found out that I would be moving into the lowest ability class because I had dyslexia.
It really annoyed me that I was being moved down a group because of something I couldn't change, despite getting better grades than the people who stayed in their class.

I'm not saying it's bad to have a bad gpa, but I'd prefer to work harder so I can get a good one

I do care about my grades and I want to pass as much as anyone else, but I just find that moving into a lower ability class isn't the way to go.
If anything it should be a sign that I need to work on my dyslexia rather than be moved down a level.
Also, being a "brainiac" doesn't make you intelligent, even though people think so.
My IQ is average and I'm in the top group for Maths and Science, which I find quite funny.
I guess I have to be happy with a B*.

i'm in the top group for all classes but english
i actually got an F in english once
but that was because i had no teacher for like two weeks and just did nothing for my grade
in fact we never got back our tests or homework for that whole period
