Once upon a time there was a boy named Bobby who lived in the city. Bobby had no friends, so he would go outside every day to play with his dog. Every morning Bobby would play fetch or Frisbee with his dog, but when Bobby got home his dog would never be around.
So one day Bobby decided to follow his dog to see where it went every night. So Bobby followed his dog out into the country where they eventually stopped near a forest. Bobby's dog ran up to another dog and then they both ran off into the distance.
Bobby was very confused, so he decided to continue following the dogs. When he caught up with them, he realized that he had been following an entire pack of dogs. Bobby had never seen so many dogs in his life, so he decided to introduce himself to the pack.
He said "Hello, my name is Bobby."
The alpha dog replied "My name is Rolo"
Rolo then introduced Bobby to the pack, who all greeted him with a friendly bark.
As Bobby was leaving the pack, he noticed a small dog walking towards him. Bobby asked Rolo if he knew what breed this new dog was, and Rolo said that it was a beagle. As Bobby walked past the beagle, it wagged its tail and said "Hey there!"
Bobby was surprised by how well spoken the beagle was, so he sat down to talk to it for a little bit. The beagle told Bobby about its life growing up in the city, which included many adventures involving cats. Once Bobby had finished talking with the beagle, he left to return home.
When Bobby got back home he told his parents about the amazing adventure he had had, but they were unimpressed because Bobby always had exciting adventures every day after school. However, Bobby's mom did remember the beagle that had followed Bobby out into the country.
When Bobby got home from school the next day, his mother informed him that the beagle had arrived at their doorstep. So Bobby decided to take the beagle out into the country with him again. Bobby's parents didn't mind since they had been planning on moving into the country anyway.
And that is how Bobby met his new friend and soon-to-be sidekick: Bucky.
