Think about it, we're just a speck of dust in the grand scheme of things. If there were really aliens out there then they would be so far away that our light would take forever to reach them.
So, is it possible that we're alone? And that we don't have any neighbors? Because if we did then we'd need to have a way to contact them, and that means we need some sort of device to do it.
But what if we don't? What if we can't? Then what?
Maybe we're just a tiny little thing floating around in space with no one to talk to.
It's kind of sad, but it's also pretty awesome.

And just another thing, I believe that life started randomly. It doesn't need a creator because it could happen by itself.
