Trolling is a form of bullying which can be defined as making fun of someone who isn't on the same level. It doesn't matter where people are in real life, the Internet, or any other place as long as they aren't on the same level to begin with it's considered trolling.
It is not a "game" or any type of prank because no one actually gets something out of it like a prize. The only winners are people who enjoy seeing others get harassed and/or humiliated by bullies who pretend to be their friends.

The way I see it, if it was just made up of words, I could easily troll. But since its something to do with the internet (like a video game), it's much harder.
