i dont understand
you want to be "better" than other people but you also want people to like you, yet people who "like" you tend to be "average" or "normal"
i dont see how that would help you become "better" than other people

She doesn't like me as much as my sister. So she always tries to make me feel better about myself by forcing me to be nice to people.
