so this guy (I won't say his name) was looking for a good video to watch so he decided to go to the website creepypasta.com
he looked through it until he found "The Rake" and immediately went to bed
when he woke up, he found his computer turned off, but it wasn't plugged in. he saw his screen on and heard the fan going so he turned off his lights
his computer was glitching like crazy, it was flashing different colors on his screen and it was making random noises
the next day he told me about it so i went to his house and turned it on
i went on his profile and saw that he had been watching creepy videos since he woke up
he said it happened again last night and he was scared and needed help
so we both searched creepypasta for "The Rake"
we found out that it was a scary story of what happens when you wake up and your computer is glitching and turning off by itself
then i got a strange feeling from my stomach... it was a warning from me telling myself not to read these things. i told him how it worked and i tried to explain to him that i didn't want to have to explain his death to my parents and he should stop reading it before something bad happens.
but he wouldn't listen...
i was asleep when i heard some weird noise coming from his room
i called his name and asked if he was ok but he didn't respond...
i slowly opened his door and there was nothing there...
i walked over to his computer to shut it off but it kept going and there was this blue light coming from it
his screen was flashing different colors and the fan started making a sound that i never heard anything like before...
i quickly checked his body and i didn't find any blood and his eyes were closed as usual...
i decided to leave and go back to sleep
i woke up to the sound of a doorbell ringing in the middle of the night...
i went to see who it was and there was this weird looking person standing on my doorstep
his skin was a light color, almost white, but his face was dark with a red nose
"Hello young man..." he said in a deep voice
"I'm here to collect a debt of 1 soul, who is it from?"
i looked at him confused and he continued talking
"The Rake wants your soul because you didn't warn him about him reading creepy stuff... now give me your soul"
i was scared so i ran inside and locked all the doors, windows, and shutters
when i got inside i was still scared so i searched google for "The Rake" and saw the video i warned my friend about...
i screamed really loud and called my friends name and asked him why he didn't listen to me
he didn't say anything...
then i heard some footsteps coming from my closet
i jumped out of my seat and grabbed my phone so i could call 911
the footsteps stopped but i could hear breathing in my closet
my heart was racing so fast and then i heard a noise in my closet like something heavy hit the floor
i ran over to my closet and when i opened it, a small, naked, child sized creature ran out of it.
its skin was green and it had no arms or legs just a head that had huge fangs and a long, snail-like nose, and a tail that stuck out of its butt
it came towards me and grabbed me by my throat, but before i died i could see that it's eyes were bright blue and it had sharp, shiny teeth with blood on them
