Just buy the games
Unless you are playing online, it's pointless to buy a console.

So basically there's no point in buying a console unless you plan on using it as an entertainment system and want to watch blu-ray movies on it?

I mean it depends if you plan on having multiplayer,
or if you want to play it with friends.
It also has a bunch of games.

Yeah but you can also play that stuff online. I don't see the point of going out to a store and buying a $400 dollar piece of hardware if you can do the exact same thing just by playing the game online.

You're forgetting the fact that not every game is playable online
Some games are much better playing offline and multiplayer.

Most of my friends who bought a ps4 are all on Xbox one
Myself included, I'm just waiting for a few good games to be released.

I know what you mean. A lot of my friends have gotten an Xbox One too but they got it because they wanted to watch blu-ray movies on it.

It's not bad, I guess.
I don't plan on getting it until the release of halo, destiny, and witcher 3.
I might buy it sooner if there's other good games.

Yeah. Halo and Destiny will probably be some of the best games this year. I might get an Xbox One just for those games.
