Why do the people who play games like COD, GTA, etc. say that they're "fun" when it's the opposite of that? They just complain about how everything sucks, but then they say it's fun.

And they probably have a TV or something. And they can go outside.

They don't realize the difference between something that's actually enjoyable (fun) and something that they enjoy doing (pleasurable).
