I'm supposed to find the equation of a line with the following conditions
has an x-intercept of -1/2 and y intercept of 4
the only thing i can think of is that it has a slope of 8, but i have no idea what its y intercept or its x-intercept are.
help please

I am going to go on the assumption that i have to find the y-intercept first, but how do i find the x-intercept when there isnt one?
