Well I tried that with my friend once, we made a friendship bracelet and she asked why I was making one for myself instead of her, so I gave her mine.
She was pretty mad about it.

Oh yeah she did that, I thought she just didn't want to waste all the effort making a friendship bracelet for herself.
So then I made another one and she took it.
It was a little bit funny how mad she got though, she asked me if I wanted her to make one for me but I told her no lol.
