it was supposed to be 75% of my grade, but it's more now
this is the best grade i've gotten in that subject yet
and i haven't had a math teacher who didn't give me a really easy time since my sophomore year
i guess this is good?

also the topic was "the benefits of social media", and i wrote a pretty good one about how it makes it easier for people to keep in touch with family and friends over long distances, and how it can be used as an educational tool if properly managed

my math teacher said i made a valid point with my second paragraph
but then she took off like 10 points because of how i formatted the paragraphs and stuff
she gave everyone pretty low grades based on formatting and not content

also my history teacher told me my essay was "great" and she said she might put me on her student paper in her syllabus
this is the first time any history teacher has ever complimented my work

that's how i see it too
i'm only going to college because my parents expect me to go to college, but if i didn't have that expectation i probably wouldn't care about going to college
i'd just get a job instead

also my math teacher gave everyone the lowest possible grade for our first homework assignment
she gave us a whole bunch of points for extra credit though
