This is the way I like to say it.
I am a fan of the old school style of rapping.
I prefer to just keep it simple.
My lyrics aren't going to rhyme.
Because that's not what rap is about.
It isn't supposed to be perfect.
But still, I like to write my rhymes in couplets.
I'm not saying that it has to be hard,
just make it real good.
It doesn't have to be perfect or complex.
It doesn't even need to rhyme.
You gotta be creative, though.
Use similes and metaphors.
Make your own stuff up.
Don't just copy people.
I think that most rappers don't use enough rhythm when they rhyme.
There's no such thing as too much flow.
You can never go wrong with being original.
Be creative, have fun.
Be who you wanna be.
Make your own style.
Express yourself.
Just don't say it all in one line.
I know I already said this,
but I'mma say it again.
You can never go wrong with being original.
I'mma start with this song,
and see where it goes
to see how far I can take it.
Before I get bored.
