It was the ending to "Sonic Underground", the new 4th or 5th Sonic cartoon. It was the ending to Season 2, where Sonic and his friends were trying to rescue the villagers from Dr. Eggman, who had taken over their town, and got help from a young man named Chris. But Chris turned out to be the new Dark Oak, and started attacking the village, and then everyone in it, and then the whole planet, including Sonic and his friends. At the end of the season, Sonic and his friends (who were stuck on a planet that was being destroyed) saw a ship with Chris on it, but he was still dark oak, so they sent it flying through a wall into an asteroid belt, and Chris became a giant meteor, and crashed into Dr. Eggman's evil fortress, killing him, and making Chris good again.
Now, tell me THAT wasn't AWESOME? I loved that moment when Chris became good again!
