for some weirdo christian website that was like "it's almost christmas but you might not be celebrating! *shows the site* it's time to stand up for what you believe in!"
the ad had a guy on the streets of london yelling at people with signs like
"if you're going to celebrate christmas, don't give me your gifts"
"if you're going to celebrate christmas, don't forget about my suffering"
and then this one dude is walking by and he gets really angry and starts shouting at the guy. then the camera cuts away and we see him talking to an actor playing god who tells him to stop being an ass, then the guy goes back to his job and is all like "i'm sorry i'll never do that again" or whatever

they also did one where the actor playing god was walking through a mall and telling kids that santa isn't real because they were asking for gifts from santa

ok so i just saw another ad for their website where this girl is yelling at some guy with a baby and it ends with a text screen that says something like "if you're going to celebrate christmas, don't forget about the people who need it most!"
and it was like what kind of message does that send to children? not only are there these weirdo christian groups who think they can yell at people for celebrating christmas but then they try to get kids into it by being all like "hey you shouldn't be celebrating christmas because if you do then you'll be an ass"

and now i'm seeing yet another commercial for their website
this one has a lady walking around a neighborhood handing out flyers that say something like "it's time to stand up for what you believe in!" and she's talking to people on the street like "hey you should stand up for your beliefs" and then she gives the same spiel to another guy who isn't interested in her message but still listens to her because he feels bad for her
what the hell kind of group is this

the latest ad i saw is the most ridiculous thing i've ever seen
the commercial starts with some guy yelling at his kids about christmas while they're all sitting in a car somewhere
then the camera cuts to the dad saying that he doesn't want to celebrate christmas because he wants to help the less fortunate
the camera cuts back to the kid who looks pretty upset, then we see the dad telling his wife that they shouldn't be celebrating christmas
and then the camera cuts back to the kid who looks really sad and then the camera cuts away and we see the dad driving with his kids in silence
then it cuts again to the actor playing god who tells him to stop being such an ass to his family because it's not good for their health or something
and then the kid gets out of the car and walks around a little bit before coming back to the car and sitting next to the dad who apologizes for everything and then they drive off into the sunset or whatever
i can't even begin to explain how much i hate this commercial

they also did another one where two people were walking down the street talking about how they don't want to celebrate christmas because it's too materialistic or something like that
and then they started talking about how christmas is all about gifts and stuff so the guy said he was going to buy them all presents and then the camera cut to a montage of him buying presents for everyone in his life
it's just like what kind of message does that send to children? that if you're going to celebrate christmas, don't give your gifts to anyone because it's too materialistic

the last commercial i saw was about a woman who was in a car accident and her family was killed in the crash but she survived
then we see her sitting on a couch crying because she misses her family and then we see her walking down the street with a sign saying "it's time to stand up for what you believe in!" and she's telling people that they should be celebrating christmas instead of giving their gifts to anyone
i swear to god if i ever see one more of these ads i might just go insane
