Me: Yes I am calling for an ambulance.
Operator: What's wrong, are you injured?
Me: No...but my laptop is! I dropped it and now it won't turn on...
Operator: *sighs*
Me: Well? What do I do?
Operator: I don't know, I'm not a computer guy!
Me: You're an operator!
Operator: That doesn't make me a computer guy!
Me: You must have a brother or something who knows how to fix computers. I bet he knows how to fix mine. I dropped it and it won't turn on now.
Operator: I can't help you with that.
Me: Well give me his number or address or somethin' then!
Operator: *Hangs up*

Operator: It doesn't matter.
Me: Oh, really? Well who are you?
Operator: I don't see how that matters.
Me: How could it not? Why are you here in the first place if you're not a guy?
Operator: Because my job is to answer the phone.
Me: So I'm just supposed to trust you because you said so? What if you lied? You don't even have ID and stuff, you know. That means nobody knows if you're telling the truth or not. So why should I believe you?

Me: This is me again, operator. You hung up on me before and now I need to speak to you again! Now I need to ask you something important.
Operator: Ok. What do you need?
Me: Who was that guy you gave me before? I want his name so I can call him myself!
Operator: He's not here anymore.
Me: What?! How could he not be? You told me he would help me with my computer problem.
Operator: Yes but...I mean...
Me: He's not there? Oh no! It doesn't matter now! This is an emergency. I need him right away, like NOW. I can't wait another minute or he might be gone forever!
Operator: Well, I don't know where he lives, if that makes you feel any better.

Me: HELLO? YES, THIS IS ME AGAIN! I NEED TO SPEAK WITH THE GUY AGAIN!
Operator: The man?
Me: Yeah, yeah, what's your point? He's not here anymore. What happened to him?
Operator: Well...he died.
Me: WHAT?! Are you kidding? When?
Operator: Earlier today.
Me: Oh no! How? Was he sick?
Operator: No. He was hit by a car.
Me: Where?
Operator: On his way home.
Me: Oh, how horrible! Is there anything I can do now?
Operator: No.
Me: Why not? Can I at least pay the hospital bills or something?
Operator: No. It doesn't work that way.
Me: But what about his wife? She must be sad right now. I should probably call her and give her some advice on what she can do in order to help her get through this.
