The answer is supposed to be "the sum of 3 consecutive integers is a multiple of 3.".
I know the first number has to be a multiple of 3, but I'm stuck. The problem is:
3x + (x + 1) + (x+2)
Please explain to me how to get that answer.

it's the same as this:
3 * x + 3 = 6x
which means it's divisible by 3.
