Rap and metal are both horrible genres in my opinion. I like listening to classical music (like Vivaldi).

@xubix well... im not a fan of rap either but you cant really judge the genre as a whole unless you know every single song in it

I just don't like the sound of heavy bass and distorted vocals. I also hate the lyrics which are mostly about how "swag" or "hot" they are, their status, and stuff like that. It's all just a waste of time to me.

classical music is good but if we're talking about modern music, i'll have to say something that isn't really pop but that people associate with pop music
i like post-rock, especially bands like Sigur Rós, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and This Will Destroy You. I also enjoy alternative rock like Nirvana and The Pixies.
i guess it could be considered indie too but i'm not really into indie music (with the exception of the bands mentioned above)
