So I'm in my car driving and I get a call on my phone, it's my mom. She asks if I have been in an accident and if I am hurt.
I say no.
She says, "There are three police cars outside your house."
And then the cops called my house because my car had broken down.
I didn't even tell my parents that my car broke down, I just said it wouldn't work until it was fixed.
They must of saw smoke or something coming out of my car because they knew it was there. Then I came home and found my mom freaking out saying, "You told me you would call as soon as you got here!"
What should I have done? Should I have lied about it?
