I agree with bionicle but in fact they have been making them, but sega hasnt put them out yet, so far though, its been only spin offs to the origonal games, if you want more of a story line, then play the sega genesis original sonic games, those ones are the best, they have great graphics, and music, and they give good stories, and thats how sega started the franchise.

Dude if you want a new game buy it or make your own.
Thats how I became rich. 3 games and I had over 10k tix. XD
But seriously buy it on sega website or whatever or use an emulator. But I hate emulators. They usually suck.

He's immortal to us! When we see him, he'll live forever. We still remember some of the first Sonic games! When they made them in 1991, he was still very young and immature. When he turned about 15-16, that's when he was mature enough to have a girlfriend, and when he turned 25, that's when his true love came (Sally). By now, it has been over a decade since he died.
