I've been doing this since middle school, and it works every time.
Go to bed
Get up in the morning
Spend about 10 minutes on your homework (only if you're really behind)
Have lunch
Play videogames all afternoon
It's perfect.

My teachers hate me.
They just know I'm not going to do any work, so they try to make the assignments super easy. They know that my parents don't want to punish me for being lazy, so they get mad when I don't turn things in on time.
It's a win-win for me.
