The series has always been overrated, and now that its latest installment is out, the fandom is even more rampant than usual. This will continue for years until fans finally realize that their favorite franchise has not been good since Skyward Sword.

I hope you will not be disappointed.
If you have never played any Zelda game, you should start with Majora's Mask because it is a great way to get into the franchise without worrying about plot details or whatnot.

A Link Between Worlds is a really good game but if you want to get into the series without worrying about plot details and stuff then you should play Majora's Mask.
